It left a huge power vacuum and some nasty things are climbing up and causing grief in an attempt to fill it. Now the brokers and power players for the spooky are getting together to decide what to do about all of it. It occurs to me that if supernatural creatures wanted people to know about them, then they wouldn't be relegated to the category of 'myth'. However, it's not like you two can't keep a secret. Once I looked, I saw that there was a line of them, with several yards stretching between each one and the next. The line led toward the water. I slung the weighted vest over my shoulder and started trudging back to the car.

A gathering of influential members of the greatest powers in the supernatural world, in a time where tensions were high and tempers hot.
